Gastro Crush: Eat Your Heart Out Boston at the Paradise this Sunday, featuring You Can Be A Wesley / Magic Magic / Brenda / Dwight from Dwight & Nicole

November 8, 2010

As if local music isn’t delicious enough, the producers of the annual Eat Your Heart Out Boston event aim to delight your belly while tickling your ears, all in an effort to support two awesome organizations: youth music program Zumix, who we here at BBC love, and Future Chefs, a program that helps high school kids prepare for culinary careers. From the EYHOB website:

Eat Your Heart Out Boston is a group of local, like-minded, music-loving foodies who got together in early 2008 with the intention of raising funds for Boston area food- and music-related non profits. The group’s mission is to support local, independent musicians, up-and-coming kitchen talent, and the growing number of small, philanthropic organizations based in Boston.

This year’s event will be the largest yet, taking place at the Paradise and featuring more chefs than ever before. Seriously, just reading this list makes me kind of drool a little…

Tim Wiechmann – TW Food
Barry Maiden – Hungry Mother
Jamie Bissonnette – Toro / Coppa
Louie DiBicarri – Sel de la Terre
Suzi Maitland – Trina’s Starlite Lounge
Will Gilson – Garden at the Cellar
Seth Morrison – The Gallows
Matthew Barros – Myers & Chang
Tiffani Faison – Rocca
Anthony Marco – Lineage
Laura Henry-Zoubir – Regal Beagle / Church
Josh Buehler – KO Prime
Island Creek Oysters

So while you’re stuffing your face full of goodies, four fine local bands will entertain you: You Can Be A Wesley (returning to EYHOB for the second year), Magic Magic, Maine’s Brenda, and chef Tim Weichmann with Dwight Ritcher of Dwight & Nicole.
